Jessica and Chris’s Wedding

You will remember them from their sunrise engagement session last month. Since Chris is an alumnus of Rollins College they opted for a ceremony at the impressive Knowles Chapel followed by a rockin’ reception on the balcony and Beatles VIP room at Hard Rock Live at Universal’s City Walk. What a fantastic night!

My wife Kim was on board as my second shooter for this one, as my regular and irreplaceable second photographer and assistant Lisa was on her way out of town to spend some time with her family for Thanksgiving. As always, Kim did not disappoint. She hooked up Jessica and Chris with some killer balcony shots at Rollins as well as made sure I did not miss a beat. I almost thought I had Lisa with me. For those of you who do not know, my wife Kim was my full time assistant and second photographer years ago before our daughter Emily was born. So for a few years now, so that Kim can stay home with Emily, I have been working with Lisa and I would not trade her for the world. I am very fortunate to have two assistants I can count on and work so seamlessly with. It is so hard to find such awesome help! By the way, Grandma loves it when Lisa can't make it to an event because she gets to watch Emily for us.

Jessica and Chris had a very late ceremony because they wanted to party into the night at the Hard Rock. The ceremony was just after sunset so that is why there is no light coming in from the windows of the church. So yes, everything was shot with just the available light in the church. This is one of the reasons why we use the best cameras and lenses money can buy!! (if you want to see daytime shots of Knowles chapel, check out Christina and Todd’s slideshow back in September).

This was such a great bouquet! I even found a nice spot for the rings.

Knowles Chapel, an hour before sunset and the ceremony.

Go Kim, from the balcony.

Me from the back of the church with a long lens. I get even tighter but I like the steps in this shot.

Here we are making our way over to the Hard Rock Cafe from the Hard Rock Hotel.

My favorite shot of the night!

If the guests did not want to sit at the tables outside, this was the view from the seating inside.

I found this staircase and had them make out for a couple minutes. Another of my favorites.

Look what's just outside of the Hard Rock.

And a slideshow... My wife picked out the music for this one.

Meghan and Brandon’s Wedding

For wedding number two this weekend I had the pleasure of working with Meghan and Brandon. Meghan and Brandon are such a cute couple. The day and the weather could not have been any better, the ceremony and reception were both fantastic, they were so relaxed for portraits and everything just went so smooth.

Meghan's dress was amazing.

A sneaky shot of Meghan's bling while she was getting prettied up.

These were the Bridesmaids flowers. Hers where the same, except white.

Yes, those are her real eyes. No photoshop!

I could not resist the pool table.

She looked so good in her dress!

I so totally love this shot! It might just be my favorite of the day. Lisa, my assistant/seccond photographer grabbed this one. I was down getting them from the front. Go Lisa!

The passion in their eyes, its what wedding are all about!

Look at them snuggle. I think they've been practicing.

I love special moments between fathers and daughters.

Just for the record, Brandon built that arbor. Very impressive.

What a portrait, they look so great. So relaxed, so happy, so in love!!

Marcie and Kenny’s Wedding

Marcie and Kenny contacted me almost a year ago to commission me for their wedding. Kenny is in the military and both he and Marcie live in Italy. We emailed back and forth but never even talked over the phone. But when we met this weekend on wedding day, it was if we were already part of the family. The ceremony and reception were both at Disney’s Shades of Green Resort, right next to the Magic Kingdom. They were officially married about a year ago but wanted to have a ceremony and reception here with both of their families. They were such a great couple and they were so totally into each other all day long. You could see just how much they were in love with each other and how comfortable they were showing it in front of everyone, especially the camera!! I am so thrilled to be able to capture memories like these for them to take back to Italy with them. It was such a special day for Kenny, Marcie and their family!

Marcie's bright bouquet. I so enjoy bright flowers. More of them later.

She should be on the cover of a magazine!

Kenny totally relaxed and waiting for the ceremony.

Love the bright flowers!

Did I mention how awesome her flowers were!

Stoping for a minute to check out the huge fish.

They were so into each other. I just let them go, I think they forgot I was there.

They had Italian themed centerpieces with wine and other assorted goodies.

The cake matched the Bouquet.

This was their son. They make such a wonderful family.

The music I picked for this slide show goes so well. I suggest you turn it way up.
